Thankful Thursday!

 Thankful for my memories of strolling down NYC streets here's one in the fashion district.The beautiful Carousel at Bryant Park.Summers in the city ahhh...inspiring!

 Now it's time to quilt for the Holidays...hurray!Think I will do some of these...to be continued.

Such a variety from my best sellers the "Punkins" to slippers, ornaments and a variety of "Stuffies"...a fun day ! I challenged myself to recycle items from wonderful donated fabrics.Better then ending up in the landfills.We as artists can create without destroying the planet!

Anyone in the Bay Area check this out it's a  great  organization they're repurposing fabrics!(instead of going to landfills)Right in Mountain View,CA.First let me say the people connected with this group...Fabulous!So many creative minds willing to share ideas with others! Check out the website for more details and a video of their history.Also ....The 3rd Annual Textile Boutique is this Saturday October 22nd at Quadrus Conference Center in Menlo Park,CA from 10- 4pm.
